The Web Engineer ensures the evolution, maintenance, and quality of the application ecosystem while respecting the company's objectives, the functional domain, and external and internal constraints: cybersecurity, risks, costs, deadlines...

Job description

Within our Web development team, you will actively participate in the development of our modern web applications and tools using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS technologies.

Your main missions will be:

  • Develop new features for our applications and tools for publishers.

  • Optimize performance and user experience.

  • Maintain and improve existing code.

  • Work closely with the UI/UX design team.

  • Document your code and participate in code reviews.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the React/Next.js ecosystem.

Profile

From an engineering school, university, or equivalent program, you are looking for an apprenticeship contract starting in september/october 2024.

  • You have a good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • You have a solid foundation in React, and prior experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Next.js, AWS, and Terraform are additional assets.

  • You demonstrate rigor, autonomy, curiosity, and a quick learning ability.

  • You enjoy teamwork in a collaborative and communicative environment.

  • Fluency in English is a plus.

Technical environment

  • You will have the choice: MacBook Pro or other laptop.

  • JavaScript framework: React, Next.js.

  • Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform.

  • Versioning: Git.

  • Knowledge of REST APIs and headless CMS.

  • Knowledge of deployment pipelines, CD/CI.

Other information

  • 12-month apprenticeship contract.

  • Full-time starting in september or october 2024.

  • 4 days of remote work and 1 day on-site per week.
